AFDIAG is the French coeliac support organisation, Association Française Des Intolérants Au Gluten. They have an approved products booklet (a very slim volume) from the address above or from their website. You can also become a member, (whether or not you live in France). Their membership pack includes a list of many over the counter medicines and lists which are gluten free.

Buying Food
You can buy gluten free products in some supermarkets in France. Some Geant, Leclerc, Casino & Carrefour supermarkets sell Allergo and Valpiform products, bread and cake mixes, biscuits, crackers etc.. Monoprix stores sell some gluten free products and these shops are to be found in town centres rather than out of town supermarkets. Some pharmacies also sell a range of gluten free foods. If you are going to be in France for any length of time, you can buy by internet or mail order from several companies, some of which are listed here. Generally, it's a good idea to take some food with you when travelling, in case you are delayed or your journey takes longer than you had expected, (just as you would in the UK).
www.valpiform.com is the website of Valpiform, one of France's major gluten free food producers. They sell fresh and long life products by mail order and by internet.
www.maisonpoetto.com are based in Marseille and sell most brands of gluten free products via mail order from Maison Poetto, 2 Boulevard Georges Clémenceau, 13004 Marseille.
Schar produce gluten free and wheat free products and have a search facility on their site listing their sales outlets in France.
Glutabye show a list of their retailers in France on their web site. Search there under "Ou se trouve nos produits" they also sell via the internet and mail order.
Label Vie produce a wide range of gluten free products and sell online.
Tourist Information
